FM Smith Recreation Center
The FM Smith Recreation Center serves youth, teens, and seniors in downtown Oakland and surrounding communities. Our multilingual staff speaks several languages, including English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Spanish. The center features a basketball court, two play structures, picnic area, fully equipped computer lab, multipurpose room, and a renovated kitchen.

Renting FM Smith Recreation Center
Please visit our front desk to get rate information. You can pick up application materials from the front desk.
You can reserve FM Smith Recreation Center 30 days to 11 months in advance of the requested reservation date. If a request is approved for an event within two weeks to 30 days, you must pay a service fee. No reservation requests are accepted less than two weeks in advance.
