Permit Inspections ensure that construction is going according to the approved plans, project conditions-of-approval, and all code standards. • Note About Consultation: Permit inspectors cannot provide project consultation, design guidance, or how-to as an enforcement agency. Please consider retaining the services of licensed professionals who can assist your project.

Permit Inspections Services & Availability:

• Inspection issues shall be addressed in the field at the time of scheduled inspections whenever possible. Please consider sending an email to your project's primary permit inspector. Permit Inspectors can hold virtual office hours via Microsoft Teams. See our Inspectors Directory.

Senior Inspector/Supervisor Services & Availability:

• Please email InspectionInfo@oaklandca.gov. Senior Inspectors and Supervisors can meet at job sites to address high-level technical assistance issues when necessary.
