Requirements for Water Service Utility Inspections

1- Contact EBMUD for Water Service requirements. Note that most Multi-Unit structures must comply with State Regulations for Water Metering per Senate Bill SB-7

2- Apply for and obtain City of Oakland Permit for new water service.

3- Schedule your Inspections

4- If inspection passes, follow up with EBMUD.

Requirements for Private Sewer Lateral Permits and Inspections. Planning and Building does not issue permits or inspects Private Sewer Laterals.
