File a Complaint with the Public Ethics Commission

To report a violation of government ethics, campaign finance or transparency laws in the City of Oakland, file a complaint with the Public Ethics Commission (PEC).

How to File a Complaint

Step 1.Download a complaint form using the options below.

Step 2.Submit the completed complaint form along with any supporting documents, photos, or files to:

ethicscommission@oaklandca.gov

Step 3.The Commission reviews and takes action on the complaint. The Commission notifies the complainant of the Commission's final action.
