Oakland Waterfront Ballpark District at Howard Terminal

The Oakland Athletics are proposing a new ballpark and adjacent mixed-use development at Howard Terminal.

Oak Knoll Mixed Use Community

The Project is a Master Planned community on the former Oak Knoll Naval Medical Center (PLN15378), which is approximately 191 acres consisting of 918 residences, 72,000 sq ft of neighborhood commercial, 14,000 sq ft of civic/commercial use, open space, creek restorations, and trails.

Brooklyn Basin Mixed Use Development

The Brooklyn Basin project site is approximately 64 acres of waterfront property with 3,100 residential units, 200,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and approximately 32 acres of parks and public open space.

Claremont Hotel Residential Expansion

In 2016, Signature Development Group submitted an application for construction of 44 residential units, various site and circulation improvements, and expansion of club membership and facilities on the grounds of the Claremont Hotel, a designated City Landmark (Case File #PLN16053).

West Oakland BART Development (Mandela Station)

Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) at the West Oakland BART station (PLN18490-R02), including 762 residential units, 300,000 square feet of office, and approximately 53,000 square feet of retail.

Emerald Views Residential Development Project

This project was formerly known as 222 19th Street Development Project.

500 Kirkham Street Mixed-Use Development Project

A mixed-use development with 1,032 residential units, including 85 affordable units, and nearly 35,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and commercial space. The project is planned in three phases, and is located one block east of the West Oakland BART Station.

Lake Merrit BART Transit-Oriented Development

This proposed project is a two-block transit-oriented development project at 51 9th Street (Block 1) and 107 8th Street (Block 2).

Longfellow Corner Development Project

Resources for Community Development (RCD) proposes to acquire and develop the Longfellow Corner affordable housing project on four contiguous parcels (APNs 012-0964-007, -006, -005 and -004) with address 3801-3829 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way in Oakland, Alameda County, California 94609.

MacArthur BART Transit Village

The MacArthur Transit Village is a mixed-use, multi-phased transit-oriented development located at the MacArthur BART Station. The village offers 880 new residential units, 143 at below market rent, and a new parking garage with 478 spaces for BART patrons and guests. The project will also contain nearly 40,000 square feet of new commercial/retail space (project case file #PUD06058).

460 24th St. Mixed Use (Pigozzi Project)

Office development on the block between 24th and 25th Streets including 99,788 square feet of office with ground floor retail. (Case File #PLN19096)

98th & San Leandro Mixed Use (Madison Park)

Planned Unit Development at 98th and San Leandro including 399 residential units and 14,156 sf of commercial area (Case File #PLN18523).

California College of the Arts (CCA)

The California College of Arts (CCA) Oakland Campus site is proposed for redevelopment with 448 residential units in two buildings and preservation of the Treadwell Estate, a City of Oakland Landmark.

Head-Royce School Expansion Project

The Head-Royce School is proposing an expansion to extend the existing 14-acre campus across Lincoln Avenue to the site of the former Lincoln Children’s Center and to develop an integrated 22 acre campus serving a student population of 1250 at maximum buildout.

Viewcrest Townhouses Project

Case Numbers: PLN18407 and PLN18407-ER01 The proposed project would develop approximately 2.6 acres of a currently undeveloped 20-acre parcel in the eastern hills of Oakland into a cluster of single-family homes, with associated landscaping and new residential street.
