Public Infrastructure (PX) Permits
All Off-Site Infrastructure (PX) Permits require City review and approval before permit issuance
PX permit is issued for the construction of public improvements within the City’s right-of-way or City Easement or as part of a new Subdivision, Parcel or Tract Map approval. PX permit is required prior to public infrastructure construction such as a roadway, paving, signage, pavement markings, striping, streetlights, storm drainage, sanitary sewers, manholes, sidewalk, curb, gutter, ADA compliant curb ramps, driveway approaches, utilities, landscaping, street trees, tree grates, irrigation, and other public facilities.

Apply In Person: The Transportation Permit Counter is open to the public on the 2nd Floor of 250 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza. Click here to schedule an appointment on a Tuesday or Thursday from 9am - 4pm. Drop-in hours are available on Mondays between 9am - 3pm and Wednesdays between 9:30am - 3pm.
