General Plan and Housing Element Annual Progress Reports

The General Plan annual report documents progress made by the City of Oakland in implementing and updating the current General Plan. The Housing Element annual report documents progress made by the City of Oakland in implementing policies adopted as part of the 2015-2023 Housing Element. Every city and county in the State of California is required to submit these annual reports on the jurisdiction's progress in implementing the General Plan and Housing Element of its General Plan. The reports must be submitted to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) and the Governor's Office of Planning and Research on or before April 1 of each year, using the forms and definitions adopted by HCD.
